Director: Derek Tatum
Derek Tatum has been a fan of the unusual and the macabre for as long as he can remember. His favorite movies include An American Werewolf in London, Psycho, and Sleepy Hollow. His musical tastes run the gamut from Scandinavian heavy metal to classic goth/darkwave. H.P. Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe are two of his favorite authors. Derek has served as a Dragon*Con track director since 2005.
Assistant Director: John “Ichabod” Anderson
John “Ichabod” Anderson is a Nashville-based DJ and promoter for the goth/industrial club night +SALVATION+. He hosts the radio show and podcast “Out ov the Coffin,” and he also plays bass in the doom metal band Loss. His fandom interests run the gamut from Batman to The Venture Brothers, and he cites Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray as his favorite novel.
Closing in on the half year mark, married, mother of two, and parent to a number of four-legged creatures. Sheila has worked as an information architect for the state of GA for the past 10 years and in the IT field for about 25. In her down time, she watches paranormal TV shows in addition to less-exciting — but relaxing — things like reading, gardening, shopping, and playing with her animals.
Clay Gilbert is a writer, teacher, Wiccan, and musician. A lifelong fan of speculative fiction, Clay counts Clive Barker, Stephen King, Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, and Ray Bradbury among his favorite authors. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is his favorite movie, and he loves classic TV shows such as Dark Shadows, Doctor Who, Babylon 5, and Battlestar Galactica. He says that his choice of favorite superheroes—Batman, Daredevil, Spider-Man, the Hulk, and Thor—says a lot about him.
Carol Malcolm is an online reviewer for the website Bitten By Books. In addition to her literary pursuits, Carol is an avid fan of symphonic metal bands such as Epica, ReVamp, Nightwish, and Within Temptation. While Buffy the Vampire Slayer holds a special place for her, she also enjoys Supernatural, Being Human, and other genre shows. But above all, she loves to spend time with her two grandsons.
Michael Edward Miller
Michael Edward Miller works as a news producer and daily host on WUTC 88.1 FM, Chattanooga’s NPR affiliate. His favorite musical artists include PJ Harvey, Bauhaus, and the Velvet Underground. Lawrence Block and Stephen King are among his favorite authors. He also enjoys This American Life, Radiolab, True Blood and Parks & Recreation.
Erika A. Pratte
Erika A. Pratte is a writer currently working on her first book . She is also a graduate student of psychology with a focus in parapsychology. Some of her favorite authors include Edgar Allan Poe, Anne Rice, George R.R. Martin, and Jim Butcher. She enjoys a variety of music including symphonic metal and folk metal, goth/darkwave, classical, and Middle Eastern.
